Dr Rachel Lee's Training History and Experience

I’m chartered Principal Clinical Psychologist with the British Psychological Society.

I am registered as an Allied Health Processional with the HCPC.

I am an accredited EMDR Therapist with the EMDR Association.

I am an accredited CBT Therapist with the British Association and Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists.

I am a trained Dialectical Behaviour Therapist.


I studied Experimental Psychology at the University of Oxford and completed my clinical training at the Institue of Psychiatry, King's College London in 2005. I have undertaken additional, specialist training in Eye Movement Densisitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, and  Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Accetpance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. 


I work in the South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust where I am the lead psychologist in a large community mental health team. I am also the programme leader for an outpatient DBT service.

I participate in research and I contibute to the University of Leeds Clinical Psychology training programme, I am a member of the academic committee and I deliver teaching sessions. I previously worked on the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies training programme, training and supervising CBT therapists. I have experience of supervising CBT therapists, clinical psychologists and psychiatrists.
