When we feel overwhelmed our nervous system gets dysregulated and our brain works in a different way. Most people enjoy helping others and many of us (and particularly women) find ourselves saying yes to requests when really we would prefer to say no. Rachel discusses ways to develop a new perspective that will help you say no more easily.

3. Notice feelings of imposterism and make them work for you (rather than against you), so that you are no longer held back by self-doubt. Sometimes we feel overwhelmed because of feelings of self-doubt or imposterism. Imposterism is natural experience when we are focused on, or value, success. At the same time, these feelings can lead to stress and avoidance and may mean that we work harder and harder to prove ourselves. However, there are ways to make imposterism work for you (yes, it's a radical idea!) and let go of feelings of self-doubt.
