FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW MUCH IS AN INITIAL CONSULTATION?
I offer a free 20-minute consultation. This is an opportunity for us to think together about your hopes for therapy and discuss how I might be able to help you. The cost of therapy sessions depends on the length of the session. A typical therapy session is 50 minutes and the cost is £120. I offer a discount for frontline NHS workers.
HOW LONG IS A THERAPY SESSION?
Therapy sessions typically last 50 minutes. However, if you are having a course of CBT or ACT, then shorter, 30 minute sessions can be arranged, if preferred. Sometimes it is helpful to have longer EMDR sessions in order to complete the processing of a trauma memory within the session or to speed up the process of therapy; this can be discussed during your initial consultation
WHEN ARE THERAPY SESSIONS AVAILABLE?
I offer therapy sessions on Monday and Wednesday evenings and Fridays.

DO YOU OFFER TREATMENT VIA PRIVATE MEDICAL INSURANCE?
I am an approved provider for Aviva Insurance and Vitality Health Insurance. Please note that medical insurance companies may not cover the full cost of the session or may specify a particular number of therapy sessions. When a medical insurance company does not cover the full cost of the sessions, then the client will be liable for the shortfall.
