Charity Donations

North Star Psychology Ltd makes regular donations to different charities. This has included Go Give One, a charity supporting covid vaccinations in developing countries, The Royal College of Nurses Strike Fund, Ey Up! mental health charity & PTSD UK.

Working with charities on a voluntary basis

Dr Rachel Lee has provided free input into the following charities:

Birth Trauma Association

Women's Health Matters

Rachel is also a registered volunteer therapist with the Trauma Response Network.

Associate Non-executive Director Role

Dr Rachel Lee is an Associate Non-executive Director for the South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, which helps her give back to her local community. Rachel is keen to help the trust become a trauma-informed organisation, improve health inequalities and staff wellbeing.

Mitigating Climate Change

In November 2023, North Star Psychology Ltd started making a monthly donation to Ecologi to fund tree planting and climate projects across the world. You can follow our impact here.

So far we have:

Funded the planting of 16 trees.

Avoided 0.38 tonnes of CO2 emissions - the equivalent of driving 943 miles.
