Are you struggling to overcome distressing or traumatic situations from the past? Do you find yourself experiencing intense emotions, unwanted thoughts or disturbing memories that stop you living your life in the way you'd like to? Or perhaps you feel run down and overwhelmed, have panic attacks, experience self-critical thoughts, problems interacting with other people, or find yourself repeatedly doing unhelpful behaviours  that you would like to change. I deliver a range of effective therapies that have been specifically designed to help you overcome these kinds of difficulties, so that you can do more of the things that matter to you and rebuild your life.

New Trauma Workshop: I have a small number of spaces available in a two-session online Coping with Trauma Symptoms Workshop that is starting on 11 February 2022. The early bird price is £80. Please email to reserve your space.

Dr Rachel Lee, Chartered Clinical Psychologist

I offer online Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy and  Cognitive Behaviour Therapies (CBT) for a range of difficulties from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) to anxiety disorders, work stress, low mood and difficulties with intense emotions and relationships.  My blog post explains more about trauma and EMDR for PTSD.

I am a highly experienced clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience within the NHS. I work in the NHS as a Principal Clinical Psychologist. I am an accredited EMDR and CBT Therapist, which means that my training, skills and experience have been found to meet the standards of the EMDR Association and the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).  I use scientifically-proven techniques to help my clients overcome their distressing experiences and develop helpful life skills so that they can address maladaptive patterns of thinking, change problematic behaviours, improve their relationships and transform their lives.

You can book a free initial consultation using the calendar below to discuss how I can help you achieve your goals and create a richer, more fulfilling life.

I am based in West Yorkshire, near Wakefield, Huddersfield and Leeds. However, due to coronavirus, I am providing all my therapy sessions online via video consultations, which means that I can offer therapy to you wherever you live.
